Speech and Language Services

Evaluation: A speech and language assessment may consist of several components including oral motor skills, production of speech, understanding and formulation of language and language use. Specific tests or observations may be necessary to help define areas of need. Treatment: Speech therapy at Wee Speech involves an individualized program tailored to meet your child’s needs. The treatment is designed after completion of a comprehensive evaluation. The test results and observations made provide the clinician with the necessary information to develop your child’s program, given specific areas of strength and need.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy can identify and treat problems with movement, posture, body position or alignment. It can help children to acquire motor skills such as rolling, sitting, crawling and walking. Some children's therapy needs may be short term for torticollis, late walkers, or postural issues. Other children's needs may require a longer period of time as might be the case for a child with a developmental delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down Syndrome or autism.
