Speech Language Evaluation

Our evaluation process begins with our first conversation with a family.  We use this conversation, a case history and any additional reports provided to determine the formal and informal measures to be utilized during the evaluation.

A speech and language assessment may consist of several components including oral motor skills, production of speech, written language, precursors to reading, understanding and formulation of language and language use. Specific tests or observations may be necessary to help define areas of need.
