Schotzi is originally from Seattle, WA. She received her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Washington University and her M.S in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Schotzi has experience working with a variety of speech, language, hearing, and cognitive disorders, including high-support autism spectrum disorder (ASD) individuals with low-and high-tech augmentative and alternative communication devices. Schotzi has received additional training in PROMPT, Wired for Reading, and DIRFloortime. Schotzi is passionate about empowering children to be independent communicators. During her free time, Schotzi enjoys spending time exploring Chicago with her husband and two dogs.
