Connie Izquierdo is a board certified, licensed Speech Language Pathologist and Orofacial Myologist. Drawing on nearly 25 years of experience in the profession, Ms. Izquierdo provided valuable insights and expertise as a Board of Directors member of the International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP). Ms. Izquierdo’s extensive credentials include holding a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Louis University’s Graduate School, graduating with honors. She is board certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association where she received the ASHA Ace Award. She received training in orofacial myology from the Coulson Institute, the International Association of Orofacial Myology, the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and the Graduate School of Behavioral Health Sciences. Her specialties include Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Swallowing Disorders, Articulation and Phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders and other Neurological Disorders.
